you do know that there are 3 different thread sizes for coupler *****, right? 3/4", 1", and 1 1/4". the size of the thread dictates the "weight class" for it (ie: larger threads = higher load capacity).
when (if) you remove the tounge, take it with you to get the proper one. honestly though, when you do finally remove the tounge, just replace it (they're not that expensive), and sand/clean the s**t out of the receiver, 'cause the new (or the old) tounge is just gonna get stuck again.
