2000 2dr 4x4 with Tire on the back?
Well i just purchased a 2000 4x4 blazer LS 2dr and i love it. But on thing i noticed is that i have a spare tire on the back and the frame that latches to the tailgate, and all the blazers i see driving around have no tires on the back or even holes where maybe they detached the frame. I was just wondering is there any difference in the actual model? or is this an option. just looking for some more info on my new blazer.
Also before i break something, i have the 4 button 4wd, I heard that i can switch to 4 high as long as i am below 40mph i just wanted some second opinions because that seems a little fast to me.
thanks

It is just an option. Some have them and some don't some of the 4 door guys would love to get their hands on one though.

Most all 2drs have the rear tire carrier, but as stated above, it is an option. 4dr trucks were never equipped with a rear tire carrier.

i have a 2 door and mine is mounted inside the rear driver side, pain in the neck!! i really wish it had the carrier on the back. gives it a sportier look i think though. but hauling things inside seems to be difficult at times, i get to wishing i had left the spare at home, how good of an idea would that be if i have a flat?
