Default 2000 oldsmobile bravada

I have a 2000 olds bravada the awd light is on and it doesnot work I had codes read and it says it is the speed sensors that are not working I am wondering if that is possible or could it be the encoder motor or transfer case, in mud the rear tires spin and in snow it slips all over road

Yes it is possible that the speed sensors are not working but with those codes should be tests to help figure it out .....what were the codes?.
