Default 2001 vs 2005 Blazer LS 4dr 4wd

Hi, I am new here, a wonderful site.
I have a 2001 LS with 233000kms, great shape. Can buy a 2005 with 252000kms for wife.
Online I can't see any real difference between them. But you all are more expert on this. Same trim package.
Are they much different or alternatively much the same? If not same can you point me in a direction to research.
Thanks, keep it up.

The only difference that comes to mind is in 02 or 03 the EGR was deleted, I believe. Other than that, they are the same.

What year did they switch to the updated fuel injectors?

2003.

2005 was the last year produced in Canada. Will be hard to find it on any parts site, but its no different then the 2004, just a run off of the last of the products...

It's great to have you here. Based on your information, it sounds like you're considering purchasing a 2005 LS as a second car for your wife. You're wondering if there are any significant differences between the 2001 and 2005 models and whether 2005 would be worth an upgrade. In general, the 2005 LS will be very similar to the 2001. There are some subtle differences in the styling and interior. Still, nothing would make a dramatic difference in how the car looks or feels. The biggest difference between the two models will be under the hood, where the 2005 LS has a slightly more powerful engine. Other than that, the two cars are very similar. So, if you're looking for a car that's just a little bit nicer than the one you have now, the 2005 LS would be a great option. However, suppose you're looking for a car significantly different from your current one. In that case, you might want to keep looking maybe for jdm imports.
