Hey i havent been on the forum in a few years. i had a 98 blazer 2dr. im going tonight to hopefully pickup a 2001 zr2 with 126k on it. lower intake manifold gasket, transfer case, radiator, fuel tank and fuel pump have all be replaced in the last few months. Looks good but ill drive it tonight. The guy is asking 2000. i know it needs ball joints. Is it worth it to buy?

I paid 3k for my 00 Zr2 2 years ago. I was told but never could verify without some heavy lifting that the motor was replaced and it had 60k on it. The odometer stated 120k though. Either way in my eyes it was worth it as it ran pretty smooth.

I just had to replace the ball joints which were original surprisingly.

So if its as good as you say it is with all that being done and they are only asking 2k, thats a steal. One thing to ask though is what kind of fuel pump was used. Those things can be a pain if the right one isnt used. Just something to keep in mind.

i got it for $1900. it also needs a wheel bearing so while they are doing the ball joints im going to have them do both wheel bearings. Thanks for all the input.
