Cool 2002 extreme auto 97,000 miles

Just bought this. It has a used engine put in and should I worry about timing chain? Not sure if it was replaced.

Unlike a timing belt, a timing chain is not replaced on a routine basis unless it is showing signs of failure. Common signs of a faulty timing chain include engine misfires, metal shavings found in the oil, and rattling sounds from the engine while idling .

Thumbs up Thank You rriddle3

Thank you for the information about timing chain. My son had a car that had a belt blow and it ruined the engine.
I was just worried because of the mileage on the Chevy I just bought.
