Not a real SUV with body on frame construction. Probably great as a Cross-Over (CUV) that'll get you to the trail-head for a day-hike.

The whole crossover deal is just station wagons, that sit up higher.

I've always had a soft spot for wagons, though. Spent many an hour behind the wheel of my mom's '70 Datsun 510 wagon as a teenager!

A nine speed automatic?! Damn, that's a lot of gears. I drove a crane that only had one more than that, and I bet you don't even need to float the gears in the Blazer lol

I saw a couple when I was picking up my 1998, they are tiny in comparison, they look nice, but they do NOT look like Blazers, or SUVs for that matter. And I consider the old Blazer “midsized” in that it is smaller than a Suburban. Lol

I'll convert my blazer to electric when that day comes.

Mount solar panels all over it!

Then maybe keep a few gerbils in some little, power-generating wheels in the back...ya know, for the cloudy days.

Removable flooring would come in handy if you need to Flintstone it.

While I don't want my beloved IC engines outlawed, as someone who works for the electric company, bring on the electric vehicles! Job security, baby!
