NICE! Looks like the missing piece is in place. I love how the black wheels look with those tires too.

I love the tires, but am not a fan of the rims. I don't know why, but I just don't like them. Don't get me wrong, they look awesome on your truck, but I wouldn't want them for mine.

On the framerails, all you did was paint them. Did you sand them down first. Mine are a little rusty (just a little) but I would love to do this to mine. Do you think spray-on truck bed liner would work? It would probably be more tough against rocks and stuff. I have lots of quarries and stuff up here with dumptrucks running around everywhere spewing rocks and stuff.

I am thinking about going to Ziebart and having them coat the entire underside with a rubberized coating that is made with asphalt and rubber, it is supposed to last for 3-5 years without recoating. It would also dampen road noise, the only thing is that its like $200, and I could pick up some rustoleum paint and a herculiner diy deal for under $100. The ziebart thing doesnt have a warranty only on vehicles that are less than 5 years old I guess. I'll definately be doing something though as my frame got worse looking from last winter (the UP winters are rough on vehicles, especially when you off road and bottom out at times).

EDIT: RCars2, What did you use to mask of stuff when you were spraying that stuff? I am thinking of hitting it with some convert rust to primer stuff and then herculineing it.

Davtak: Mine i didnt have to sand because there was no rust but i did wash them down and got all the mudd and junk off. Just put some heavy duty rustoleum primer on it and then put a coat of rustoleum black that i had lying around over that and its sealing it pretty good.

Lenny: I just used painters tape and some masking paper. You can get both at menards or walmart. As for herculiner, ive had mixed results with it (well not spefically with it but with a generic knock off that just about the same), doesnt stick too great to anything plastic and you really either gotta sand your frame to bare metal so it will stick or i think if you primer it, it will stick as well. Ideally the Ziebart coating is the way to go.

FFJustin99Chevy: I wondered what happened to ya man. Glad your back. Oh, and thanks for the compliments.

iceflames11: Unfortunately no wheelin until i fix the front axle. The switch in the front diff is dodgey at best. Most of the time it doesnt work. So im gettin a 4x4 posi lok cable in the next few weeks and then I'll put in the fun stuff.......just its mostly sand and dust right now cuz i hasnt rained and doesnt look like it will for several weeks or longer.

Looks great! i like the black rims...I just bought a 99 blazer and want to put the bigger tires and new black wheels on it. i have only found body lifts for 2". What size of tire will this clear? i was figuring only 31's....How much of a lift do i need for 33's? and what kind of a lift will that include. Thanks for any advice!
