87 axles into 02?

87 axles into 02?
Just wondering if anyone knows if front chuck from an 87 will bolt into an 02 zr5? Rear axles im sure are similar enough to make work just dont know about the fronts

Are you talking about the CV axles, or the whole front drivetrain? If you're just talking about the CV axles then no they will not bolt into an 02. The diff changed a bit in 98 as did the CV axles. They are not interchangeable. If you swap the CV axles as well as the diff then it might work, but why? You'd be way better off finding a replacement part from a 98+ that is a direct fit.
