'89 Rear Bumper Impact Strip
Hi,
My vehicle got smacked on the rear bumper rite side, and now the black rubber impact strip is pushed out. They are impossible to find in perfect shape like mine was. Tried taking the blow dryer and heating it to get it back to shape, but it didn't seem to do anything. I've looked at a few and bought another used bumper, but they are all in worse shape than mine. Any suggestions would be a huge help.
This is what I want to do to my boss that hit it.

The rear impact strip is tough to find. I have an 89 and I hunted high and low and found a GM dealer that had one in stock. That was 8 years ago. You would be very lucky if you can find a good one in the junkyard. Search ebay on NOS for new old stock. You never know.
Truck Parts and Truck Accessories they sell the rear, but its not the same style that the 89 has I dont think
