Default 97 2 door blazer driver window window switch

My driver side window switch when I wanna roll the window down I gotta push really hard to make it go down does anyone know why that is? And what if I wanna make a little more power to the engine say by putting a intake on it how would I go about doing that? Also the passenger side interior handle is becoming hard to open the door unless you pull the door in then pull the handle anyone else have the same problem?

As for the switch there could be many reasons. Broken plastic, oxide on the contacts. Bad ground on the motor. Not sure but maybe somebody has solved the same problem before.

For performance mods you may start in the performance & brainstorming section.
Plus this is a good starting point.
