hello all, just put in a new fuel pump, seems like every 100k they die. my question is how long can these trucks last? rear axals at 200k radator at 230k tranny rebuilt 220k (i tow small boat) my fear is the timming chain, how long do they last? body is in great shape. i think when the engine goes ill put in a rebuild??? any ideas or threads to look at will be helpful... thanks glenn
again blazer has 307,000 as of today

1,000,000 miles! It'll run forever if you keep fixing stuff. I seen 610,000 on a gas engine

It'll last as long as youre willing to fix the broken stuff and don't get in an accident. The majority of vehicles get scrapped when people don't trust them, the cost to fix it is more than the vehicle is worth, or they get wrecked. I say as long as the frame isn't rusted out or damaged a vehicle can last well beyond a lifetime.
