Default 99 Chevy Blazer LS Zr2 trailer wiring

ok put the ball on the bumper 2 in 3400 towing cap.. wires are light green- back up lights, brown - tail lights/parking lights, white heavy gauge -ground, yellow-left stoplamp/turn signal, dark green- right stoplamp/turn signal.. then I have a light blue not dark blue as it says in the manual..is that for the trailer brakes? but also have no white light gauge or red kind of

confused lol..help please just want to do it right lol like to run a combo of 4 pin and 7 pin connector for the trailer harness

It has been a while since I hooked mine up, as in 10-15 years ago. There is wiring underneath, close to the rear bumper for grounds and lights. You need to tap into the brake light switch under the dash and on the brake pedal linkage. You also need to tap into 12 volt hot underneath the hood. The wires behind the rear bumper are for the 4 wire plug only. 7 wires you need to find them.
