Smile Air Condiditoning

I just re-charged my 2000 Chevy Blazer's A/C. I couldn't figure out why it loses refrigerant every season. I've had the system checked out and no leaks. When I finished the re-charge and all was good to go a friend of mine appeared and asked what I was doing to my Blazer. When I told him he noticed that the caps on the A/C lines were missing. He said that if no caps are present then the refrigerant can slowly leak out over time undetected. I went out that very moment and bought both caps. Hope this helps some of you and saves you some $$ on future R -134A recharges.
