Default Air suspension on rear

Hello all,

Just wondering if any on here has air adjustable suspension front or rear.

The reason I as, i ran in to the previous owner of the blazer.

He asked if I had put any air in the rear suspension..I looked at him puzzled..

I replied no and he said to look under the rear of the vehicle, there was a air adapter there.
I connected this to the airline and inflated up to the advised 90Lb.

To my surprise the rear of the blazer lifted a good 1 -2 inches..

I Will get some pics up when it is light...

Yep, definitely sounds like an add on device and not the factory option. The factory auto ride control would have had its own pump and not have a fitting to add or remove pressure from the system.

Monroe makes aftermarket shocks with an air lift assist that sounds like what you might have. There are a few different companies that make air bladders that go between the frame and the spring to also provide lift assistance for heavy loads.
