Default Any Auto body guys here?

Why do the 2 doors rust in front of the back wheels? Mine has lived out of Ohio in Cali for 5 years, which probally helped. Just looking for a solution so mine doesn't rot out. Thanks! The reason I'm asking, is I had a Dodge Ram, and you always seen them rusting out on the rear wheel wells. This body guy told me they stuffed them with insulation for some stupid reason and always stayed wet and rusted out. Makes sense. Maybe someone here has investigated the 2 door S10 Blazer issue..

My son's has rusted out and I have offered to weld in the replacement panels for him once he gets them. He said he's not worried about it.

If he ever changes his mind, I'll let you know what I find on the back side.

Mine, on the other hand, have zero rust. We don't live in the rust belt so I don't know why his rusted out and mine haven't. I have owned mine since brand new and he bought his a couple of years ago with the rust already there.
