Default Any major problems with 2000 blazers?

Hey I'm lookin' into buying a Blazer or a Jimmy sometime soon, specifically models from 2000 onward...are there any major problems that anyone would like to inform me of? I REALLY like the Blazers; between utility and style, it just seems like the perfect truck for me. On the other hand, if I'm buying one that's gonna go belly up on me, I'd like to have a heads up. To clarify: there's one particular one I like thats a 2 door, 4x4, with about 85k miles...it's an '02. But really just any comments would help. Thanks.

I have a 2000 2 door, 4x4. Bought it with 107,000, now has closing in on 120,000. Here's what's up:
New tranny system. Brakes completely shot. 4x4 not working. Sunroof jammed. Hard shift into 2nd gear. New 02 pump. Cooling system went (new thermostat+housing, radiator, hosing), rear tranny seal needed replacing, high pitched noise if driven before warmed up, front drivers side CV shaft replaced, arm crank worn down.

But hey it looks sweet in the snow. Just be careful and do your of research. I've put just about as much money into it as I paid for it.

4x4 is probably the biggest problem with these trucks. Just about every 2nd Blazer owner here has had an issue with their 4x4 (including myself). Be sure it's in good working order first. Take a look around the forum as there is TONS of info about these trucks. The more common the topic, the more common the issue. There is also a thread going on common issues and quirks. I believe it's stickied to one of the boards.

Nothing major, have had the 4WD hubs go on me three times though (the third I got my money back though because the new one went).

Engine is fine and transmission is fine.

Just minor things like the bushings on the front doors, the passenger seat seat level breaking and thats about it.
