Default Appraisal for '93 S10 Blazer

Hey, everyone! I bought this '93 Blazer for $12,000 from the classic car dealership above about a year ago, and am looking to resell it.
Still in as good condition as it was in those pictures and description from the links above:
cosmetically perfect,
runs well (motor can get a little tired on hills but does longer trips just fine),
175k miles.
Had it inspected a few times, everything looks good under the hood and suspension-wise.
I've loved it while I've had it, but have no space for it anymore and want to get something more practical.

Think it was bought from that auction at around $5,000 in 2020, and obviously I paid $12,000, so was wondering if you folks could help me and share what you think it may be worth!
I am not a car guy (lol) so I'm shopping around for many opinions, including whether I should sell privately or at auction, etc.

IMO, I think you would be lucky to get $5k for it. Me as a buyer sees 175k mile, 29 year old vehicle. It does look very clean, but how bad are any leaks on the underside?

Yeah, I'm even less optimistic than Chevymec. It's clean, but it's not at all rare, it's a 2WD, and it's not exactly a low-mileage "barn find". I think it's probably worth about $3k. Hopefully I'm wrong, and you do a lot better than that.

Good luck!

Thanks for the responses, guys! I thought about as much--I'll probably keep it in the family as a decent back-up car then, and maybe sell it further down the line.

Hope you fellas have a good week!

It is a different type of rig but not something that would have super collector status of late. Someday, if it stays pristine, it will have novelty value as a survivor. I think it is cool though. Keep it garaged, well-maintained, and have fun with driving a nice example of another era!
