ARGH! No rivets....

Default ARGH! No rivets....

well i had to replace my drivers side power window motor and after a lot of cursing i got the motor and regulator out (you have to drill out the old rivets)

and then relized that the replacement didn't come with rivets, AND it need 5/16 rivets

anyone ever tried to find 5/16 rivets? you cant find them[:@]

im calling and bitching at dorman tomorrow. I WANT MY RIVETS

lmao i hate rivets, if i working on my truck and run into them i usully stop the project casue i know how much trouble they will casue probly wont be worth it

i didn't use 5/16 rivets when i fixed mine...also could not find them

so here is what i did
i did it "farmer style" - i used smaller rivets and i used a washer on the back of the plate, so the head of the rivet could expand and hold in position

i got some bolts and nuts and slapped them on it, works great! im still pissed about the rivets though... killed my dremmel in the process of removing them
