Then you probably snapped the axle... Or at the very least, some of the pieces that hold it in...

I am guessing it's probably a write off...in the states...if the repairs are going to cost more...or about the going rate for the vehicle..they write it off.....and if they think the frame is involved..it's a gaurantee write off...I guess you will just have to see what the insurance people say

Man sorry to hear about the accident, but glad you're both alright.

And saying women drive worse than men is ridiculous! My husband is the worst driver I've ever known and because of his bad driving I have to pay higher insurance...so there! LOL

In Canada, or Alberta, at least, if the damage is 80% or more of the vehicle value, it's a write-off...

Yeah, so an update.. It's a write off. Some good news though, they are giving me $12,000 for it.. which is awesome considering I paid $8450 for it! I knew when I got it I was getting a killer deal, the gentlemen wanted it sold asap so he could go get an old duster that he'd wanted for a while. So my gain I suppose. So it's time to start looking for something, if I do infact get another blazer, I think I want it to be a ZR2.
