I had a s10 pickup i stone guarded with hurculiner roll on. I used the sponge roller it came with to apply. It looked good at first but when it cured it had a very ruff texture. I now have a 2dr blazer that i am planning on stone guarding but im gonna use duplicolor bed liner in a spray can. It comes out way smoother. I wonder if herculiner can be applied with a spray gun if that would help with the final product but for me im going with duplicolor.

Use a tighter sponge, not so porous or mask & paper off the surrounding area if you spray it on. Make sure if you do it outside you pay attention to winds & cover tires etc. I say outside because they'll probably say to apply in a well ventilated area.
Also, I'm pretty sure if you get it in the can they do have a specific thinner for spray applications.

CAUTION! I've read many a story about how the duplicolor stuff is nice short-term, but deteriorates easily, the was also the story of a guy who had gas drip on it while fueling up and it dissolved the bed-liner!

Oops let me make a correction it is rust-oleum bed liner spray i plan to use not duplicolor. Dont know what made me think it was duplicolor. I only wish rust-oleum would come in another color than black in the spray can.
