Default Blazer Shocks

Hey, I am new to this forum but a buddy said it would be a great place to find some info... I have a '96 4X4 blazer, and I need new shocks. I have looked at the Bilstein, but they are a little pricey. Does anyone have any good recommendations? Also, I have heard that there is a problem with some shocks with an IFS.. any truth to that? Its an all stock blazer. Thanks in advance and look forward to being on this forum!

Well, different shocks have different qualities. I can tell you that the Bilsteins are very firm (they came on my truck), but provide very good control. Others have their own faves.
