Back before i had my jimmy i had a 92 sonoma 4x4 reg cab long box 4.3 and a 5 speed. When i first started wheeling all of my friends made fun of me( they have f150's and silverados, and one friend has a f250) they all said "why would you take a s10 offroad?" Thats what they would always say untill I went threw places, they would fallow, get stuck and I would pull them out. One time the last snow storm we got in march my friend in the f250 got stuck playing in some snow i had just been threw and he got stuck. So i grabed my tow strap and started hooking it up. He said " theres no way you will get me out with that!" You sould have seen the look on his face when my little sonoma pulled out a crew cab 4x4 powerstroke f250 out of the snow. And i wheel with my jimmy now all the time, and have pulled out my friends f150 and anothers explorer all the time. So now if i get any crap about buying a jimmy/blazer I say "Well it was good enough to pull your dumbass out"

The funny thing about it all is the my buddy with the ion redline (supercharged 4 cylinder that actually beat my other buddies m3 in a drag race) just pokes fun and calls it the lazer blazer for sh**s and giggles.. the explorer kid thinks his car is hot sh** and races everyone who bites because "who expects and awd truck to have a 5.0 v8?" well, when you have svt wheels off a mustand on it, straight pipes, and a huge system, i hope to god you can go fast to support that...

The ion redline owener and i actually go urban wheeling and what not around town or pick up a 52 inch tv from his uncles house we take my blazer. if we're in a hurry or low on cash we take his redline because his mileage is awesome and its really quick.

I went driving up some new trails yesterday with one of my friends. I'm thankful that my Blazer has a g80 rear end otherwise I would most likely have been stuck. Funny thing is that he still thinks that his ford f150 will do just as well as my Blazer. Well be putting that theory to the test soon enough when his truck gets fixed.

Now I'm in the process of replacing both cv shafts and all four ball joints.

Most of my friends have Blazers, or like Blazers also. So I don't have that issue for the most part.
Actually, one friend is a diehard Toyota fan. So the first time he rode in my truck he says, "Your truck has A/C? I'm surprised considering it's a GM". He also likes to rag on me for buying the Blazer. It's okay, I always rag on him for Toyota's ongoing Gas pedal, Brakes, Steering recalls.

Sucks that I forgot that my new phone can record vids and take pics. Perhaps after my repairs are completed I might see if I can drag my buddy russ and his old toy and take another gander at that trail. Also got to figure out how to load pics from my phone onto pc I have the cable just need to figure it out.
