That's a pretty nice truck she's got there! What did she drive before her Blazer?

A 2003 Ford (GAH!) F-150 Supercrew...good gas mileage for it's size. Glad to be rid of it though.

Not saying i like fords but, why did she (i don't want to say down size but) go to the smaller truck of a blazer? i know it has a heck of a lot more interior space but, the f150 is a truck with big truck bed.. then again i'm a guy and really do love full sized trucks

Wow, you really love your wife (j/k).

Funny, but it was my wife that sold me my Blazer. Although she never said it, I think she was a little thrilled about how I modded it out after I got my hands on it. It was a great truck, and I'm sure the kid I sold it to is really happy with it.

It would have been nice to keep the Blazer as an off-road rig, or as a daily driver to save the miles on the Silverado. The problem is that I live in a community where I don't have my own garage or driveway. I can't wait to move!

well in 2 weeks we will have been married 18 years and together for 20...I have earned the right to say such things and get away with it on RARE occasions if I push my luck too far I spend the next several days dodging random flying objects lol.

LMAO!

But about what I was saying before...I may just ask her to sell me the Jimmy when she's ready to move on to another vehicle. Then I can trick it out and make it my offroad rig. It will also be a lot easier to convert to a manual transmission, because the shifter's on the floor. The Blazer's shifter was on the steering column.

Hmmm.....

So that Blazer is entirely stock doing all of that?

Yup. At that point I had installed off-road lights, trimmed the edges of the front valence, and tweaked the saggy torsion bars the restore the factory ride height. It was on 235/75/15 highway tires. I had disconnected my front sway bar for the trail.

It did more things that way too:
