Default Broken Frame?

I was under the truck sprayin PB blaster on the shock bolts so I'll have a chance of getting them out when my new shocks get here and I noticed this...

It's on the passenger side behind the shock and in front of the shackle.
I assume this is a broken frame. No idea how long it's been like this, I've been driving it around for over a year. Do I just take it to a frame shop and get it welded up?

Any advice guys?

The frame structure is different to my Blazer, but I'm afraid it looks broken to me. See what a repair shop says about fixing it.

I've seen frames break before, but not like that.

The hitch on the truck was bent when I got it. I asked the guy about it and he said he backed into a wall and it bent down. It looked like it was just the hitch that bent but I never got under it. I wonder if that caused it.

I thought it was extremely odd that it was in a straight line. But I've never seen a broke frame before.

Anyone around Long Island that would want to make some money to fix this? lol

If you have a welder and a jack, jack it up so its lined up right and weld the **** out of it.

yea jack it up to line it back up and then have someone with an electricwire feed gas welder weld the crap out of it but make sureyou clean the area up real good and that whoever welds it makes good penetration with the welds or it wont be worth a damn if they don't penetrate that well. but that will fix it and it would on take about a half hour to fix it too.

I've used a MIG about 4 times in my life and it's been years. I'm not confident I could do it. Guess I'm looking for a chassis shop Sun and Mon.
