I never had bugs on the windshield of my old Z34 and it didn't have a bug deflector...

Yeah, its all about the shape of the front end. My old '94 Intrepid never had a problem with bugs on the windsheild either. My Bravada and Rainier do though.

Erh.. Bravada did... LOL

Picked a bug deflector up at Advance Auto Parts today on my way home. We'll have to see how it works.

Right on, definately put up pics when ya get it installed. Just curious what brand ya got? I dont remember for sure but i think mine is a lund (logo wore off a long time ago). Honestly i cant tell the difference between theirs and the AVS one.

You can also buy the protective film and do it your self, plus it is good for on rocker panels too. It's like the film you see where the rear wiper blade rests, so you could tell it was there but not as much as like a bug deflector. Also you can wash and wax right over it just make sure you clean the part where the film transitions to just paint since wax build up can occur. You don't notice it unless you are looking for it or it starts to yellow, which if you go with the 3M stuff, its not supposed to happen and should be covereed under a warranty. I saw the stuff at Car Quest and its probably at other places too.
