Default Cheap tricks

I just tought I would post my tought about this matter.I wanna paint my Dash & front console.Its gray looking(by default) Dusty black & yep,its old.... without saying ;my driver's interior handle is all tainted black cause of the grease & all...

Anyone did paint,taint that plastic?

I had abuddy who painted his interior plastic panels white (they were tan) and used several coats of krylon fusion and then several more coats of clear to seal it. Worked pretty good but some spots started flaking. We figured that if we would have hit it with some primer first it would have stuck. Hope that helps.

my buddy painted his s-10 with spray can like that too. it turned out really well he primed it first and put the clear on thick

ive painted mine 3 times. once with PPG single stage, once with that duplicolor high heat flat black spray paint, and just now with some random black base
it all looked good just make sure to prep it realllll good
