Default Cold air intake

Hello.

I have been searching for a cold air intake for my 93 4.3L. Not vortec. I haven't been able to find any. K&N said they don't make them. Any suggestions on where to find one if there is one? Or suggestions on building one? I have combed through other threads. Haven't found one that has 100% answered this question.

Thanks.

Edit: I seen a related topics area. (First time user of this forum.) I happened to find a link to a product. Has anyone tried this and was it compatible? http://www.partstrain.com/store/details/Chevrolet/S10_Blazer/K-and-N/Cold_Air_Intake/1993/Tahoe_LT/6_Cyl_4-dot-3L/K33573028.html?vdesc=true

Always comes down as to why you would want a CAI on a Blazer.

Lot's of discussions here and some very good write ups.
You may want to consider spending the money on a new air filter instead of a CAI. It may even give better results than a CAI

Sam, where are you located? I have a CAI for an 02 Blazer you can have if you're close enough to pick it up. There might could be some parts you could use to make one with. I'm in Lynchburg, VA.

CIA should be renamed as HAI [hot air intake] or BHA [big honkin air filter] last but not least [TWM] total waste of money,
If you want a reuseable air filter see if K an N makes one but without the oil on them a stock filter filters the air better and the oil residue can and will play with the engine air intake sensors.
I have a thin foam wrapped K an N on my 4X4 RX7 and the only reason it is there is there is no room to mount the factory air box and no way to open the radiator mounting for air as the radiator fills the opening from fender too fender. So regretfully I have a HAI with no choices

I totally agree on the cold air intake, ive got one installed in my '99 s10 blazer 4x4 with a Spectre reusable filter. It made a world of difference in mine, for wutever its worth to you.
