Default Converting to mechanical dash?

I have the 91 s10 blazer 4x4 with the digital dash...I hate the digital dash and have my own plans for it.I want to take out the plastic cover and the digital gages and replace it with a peice of bent sheet metal. Then put in 6 new mechanical gages.BUT my question is How would i hook the mechanical gages up to were the electronic ones used to be.Is this even possible?

no prolly just that no one has done that. i know of some going the other way with other vehicles. try and google for switching digital tach to mech tach and see what comes up. might not be specific but might help some.
