will a mechanical speedometer work?

Was told it might work...but what adapters etc do i need?

Your truck is all electronic in this regard. You would have to change out the tail housing and possibly the tail shaft in the transmission to use a mechanical speedo.

I have no idea where you would tie it into. Older vehicles had the cable running to the tranny so...

Yeah, I thought that kind of went without saying... Besides, the dash would need to be changed out to an earlier dash that would have a mechanical speedo... It would be A LOT of work.
