Default cool things to do to 2wd 2nd gen?

Wassup guys! I just got a 99 4door blazer from my dad, who let it sit since 07 when it wasnt running right. He is moving so I flew out here to help him move, and i get to have the blazer and drive it home accross the country. She had some issues wih starting and running, which i solved them today buy searching this site and the s10 forum. Had some issues with starting and running, put new plugs, wires, rotor and cap, alternator and cleaned the maf and she runs great now.

Some minor issues Id like to address, she sat outside with no window shade so the tan dashboard got a little sun dried ligther tone. Any way to restore that?

I been recently desiring a lifted 4x4 vehicle since all my cars have been modified low import cars, so that would be a nice break. After watching off road wheeling videos on youtube a while back, that looks very fun.

What cool stuff can I do with a 2wd blazer? Is it worth lifting 2wd? I honestly probably wouldnt go wheeling much but would always be nice, I will be taking it back to southern california and probably wont go offroad much.

I really wish it was 4x4 but I can not complain since it was a hand down to me

Default

it needs a paint job,

The visible portion of the frame looks ugly due to surface rust, i plan to brush it down and then spray it with some cheap rustoleum 777 satin black through a spray gun, should be good.

Then I would like to paint the body, make it look newer with removing the chrome fender trims and painting the chrome portion of the bumpers body color. Maybe get the clear diamond cut headlights and ebay intake.
