I think the other thread was deleted?

Anyways, might be trading for a 2001 xtreme

what are good ways to test if it's been raced/abused before trading?

It has no plates or insurance so I can't really test drive it.

Other than a visual inspection of the body and drivetrain, I can't think of any way to test a vehicle other than by driving it.

Bring a plate with you?

BTW, those rims and tail lights have to go if you buy it.

My dad REALLY isn't going to go for that...

But that's EXACTLY what I thought.

Maybe the guy will do it with his own plates if he is serious about trading.

And about the rims: I really liked how big they were and how unique they were.

I thought they were awesome compared to the stock xtreme wheels that come standard.

Tail lights? Sure, they are rice and I will most likely put blacked out lights in their place.

Can't wait to air bag it and put scrape plates on it though

Thats a really sweet ride. It looks just like my 2002 xtreme blazer but its only on 18s. Is it 5-speed? . Mine was ran hard. Looking at the brakes. And the bushings in the front . For grease or any damage to them. And I have a torn motor mount.

EXACTLY what my dad said...

I guess it was good that I didn't get it.

Not sure about the 18's though. They look big enough to me.

Def a lot cooler than my 4x4.

I would have love to put airbags and scrape plates on it, but he sold it.
