Default Dimpled/slotted rotors and mud...

I'm watching Xtreme 4X4 (one of the eps where they are working on the full size Blazer) and Ian just put dimpled and slotted rotors on.

I know on the street those will give you better stopping power, but offroad, specifically in the mud, isn't that another spot for mud to possibly get packed into? I know the mud would come off with a hose once you're done offroading, but my concern would be losing stopping power while on a trail somewhere.

Anyone else thought about this?

I could see that as a problem, but I don't know for sure.
