Do your friends complain about the handle on the dash? (2nd gen)

Noticed someone mentioned someone they know ragged on them about the handle because they are a huge chrylser fan. Does he not realize that every Jeep Wrangler since 97 has the same handle pretty much? haha

I'm not sure I ever noticed my 2000 had a handle there until my wife mentioned it like two weeks ago. She is never in my truck, we always take her 97.

The first thing she said was, "oh that handle is neat."

I call it my super oh **** handle....my friends with a 97 Jimmy keep saying how bad they wish they had the handle in their rig....they plan to do a lot more off roading than me.
