does anyone plow with their s10 blazer
just wondering if anyone plows with their s10. What setup do you run and does a 1st gen and 2nd gen frame mount the same? im interested in a western 6'6 unimount but its off a 1st gen and i have a 2nd gen? any info would help thanks
Stick with a name brand.
If you know a guy who can weld, even if it's not interchangeable brackets can be made. Take measurements between your frame horns and then measure the plow mount if you go and look at it.
I've seen plows on S series trucks, a friend of mine had Zamboni tires on his plow truck too lol.

i plowed all this winter with my bosses 1989 s10 pick up regular cab it has a 6'6 western unimount , i enjoyed driving it down sidewalks in stead of shoveling.of coarse only the ones wide enough for it but i want my own now and there is a western mount on ebay for 1st gen but nobody has been able to say weather or not it will bolt up to 2nd gen i do have a friend that can weld any thing i can come up with oktain you might have just gave me my solution this is why i enjoy this site you guys are a real help thanks.....
well if it matters to anyone i found that 1st and 2nd gen s10 frames are the same in the front so the plow mount will fit just have to cut edges off front horns for the mounting bracket to slide up inside frame rails, also i bought that 1989 s10 plow truck and the horns were cut on it for the mount to go in side the frame rails also stole the wheels and tires and rear tow hitch then sold the truck for $500 after buying it for $1500 the hitch will fit to the fit all years.$1000 bucks for a western 6'6 unimount wiring harness and controller plus better rims and tires plus a tow hitch sounds like a great deal to me
