Does anybody have their cat off?
I was wondering if it ACTUALLY does any damage to the engine or such. Some people say the car will run too lean or too rich. But some people say it doesnt even matter. Can someone let me know if their car runs good with it off? Because i have an appointment to get it replaced with a pipe tomorrow. thanks.

Depends what year. I seen some of the newer cars have O2 sensors before and after if you have a sensor after you might have issues or have emissions I cut the one off my 93 and 85. It improved performance on the 85 cause it was cloged. 93 no difference

What year is your vehicle? Manufacturers made huge strides in the 90's in making sure that cats didn't choke HP like they did in the 70s and 80s. If you have a 90s-05 vehicle it wont make any noticable difference unless the current cat has a clog, in which case the clog is what hinders your power, not the cat.

I understand you are asking a hypothetical question, but please read BlazerForum Rules #10.
