ALrighty. I know gm has been using the name vortec for a while. Ive always been told about the 96'+ heads are true vortec style heads. My step father has his 92' with the aluminum intake manifold that has the orange vortec emblem on top. Does he have the actual true vortec heads or does he still have the swirlport?
