why that large?
Kyles post to me about back pressure myths boads against the pipes being too large, not enough 'tow in the flow' for them to work right.
i'd say 2.25" if you'll be doing a full true dual exhaust

hey i never said live by it, just a quote i found that was on my side.

@rottidog i would never put that big on a 4cyl or a tiny v6, only the big v6 and the v8s.

there is a limit as to whats good & way over board as to what can be done to a basically stock 4.3 in the ways of exhaust, power train & drivability... 2.25" exhaust on a single in/dual out is nice & as the blogs say ala Kyle, it's acceptable for a true dual exhaust as well

the biggest i ever did on my old 3.4L was 1 7/8 to 2.5 muffler back to 2", i got a good deal on the muffler (10 bucks brand new cherrybomb), i also had a crap load of adaptors, i'll never go down that road again with adaptors, 5 is way to many lol. i'll take the beer any time

gawd damn that sounds like a mess lol
I have a friend in michigan (Newaygo, MI) that likes to get out in his jeep 4x4, maybe hook you up so you can show him what a real (not just over sized tires is about) & yes, he'll get you the beer from me lol
