Default Engine diagram

1998 Blazer Lt 4dr 4wd

Hello everyone. I don’t know a whole lot about engines and other mechanical parts. l looked online for a diagram of my Blazer’s engine and other parts in the engine bay showing where things such as the starter, alternator, water pump, manifolds, and other parts are located. I saw diagrams of the electrical parts and wiring but not the things I listed above. Does anyone have a link to this type of diagram that is free or can you post a diagram like that on here?

I'd suggest you get a repair manual from an autoparts store, e.g., Haynes.

Also the GM parts vendors online will show expanded parts diagrams.

Are the diagrams on the official GM parts website? Do they show the names of all the parts or only the specific part you are looking for?

Some of the GM parts online vendors will have an exploded view with individual parts numbered and then also listed and described on an accompanying list next to the picture.

Do you know the names of these websites?

Not off the top of my head. You'll have to search around for them.

TascaParts.com has parts lists and diagrams that go back a lot further than I thought it would as I have used it over the years.

You can also purchase a subscription to AllDataDIY.com or EAutoRepair.net which are online factory service manuals. I used to be a diehard AllDataDIY user, but they have more than doubled their subscription costs over the last few years. I now use eAutoRepair which has a similar cost to what AllData had, but is a bit more cumbersome to use.
