Bumper hex bolts size? - for 1997 Blazer 2-door 2WD
I'm installing a new bumper on my 1997 Chevy Blazer LS, 2-door, 2 wheel drive, 4.3 liter V6. While I'm at it, I'd like to replace the rusty bolts with brand new bolts, because I live in an area where metal rusts quickly.
When I measure the original rusty bumper hex bolts they seem about 2 millimeters shorter than 30mm - but perhaps bumper hex bolt measurements do not need to be extremely accurate?
(Apparently the "bumper" is also referred to as the "Impact Bar" - which helps to know when searching online). Several websites are showing that the bumper hex bolt size is: 1.25 x 30 mm
I'm considering purchasing these stainless steel HEX body bolts on Amazon since I live in an area where metal rusts easily. M8-1.25x30 MM DIN 933 Metric Stainless A2 70 HEX Head Bolt/Screw,/933 (Quantity: 100) Size: M8-1.25 | Length: 30mm
Thanks! M8-1.25x30 MM DIN 933 Metric Stainless A2 70 HEX Head Bolt / Screw / 933 (Quantity: 100) Size: M8-1.25 | Length: 30mm - Stainless Steel.
I am also adding 3 photos of the existing rusty original HEX bolts from the front bumper: Original (now rusty) HEX bolt from the front bumper of my 1997 Chevy Blazer LS 2-door, 2WD, 4.3 liter V6.
