Default Engine making noise

Good Morning.
I was just wondering what I should do, from the time I start my car the engine makes a knocking noise. This only lasts until the engine gets warm. I don't know if it is exactly coming from the engine though, just that general area. My dad thinks it is the hydraulic lifters since it stops making noise as soon as it warms up. What should I do if it them making the noise? Or do you not think that is whats making the noise?

Usually a knocking noise could be a stuck push rod due to a failed lifter.Or a bad rocker arm sticking while the push rod travels up and down.I see you have the older model blazer. But what`s the oil pressure look like, how many miles are you pushing?Have you changed the oil lately? What grade oil do you use? How loud is the knock?
