96 Blazer Making Wierd Watery Noise
Hello,
I just bought a 1996 Chevy Blazer with 68k miles. I do not know a thing about engines or anything like that. I just know how to use the car.
I have a problem, I doubt it is major becuase the car runs like a champ but... everytime I step on the gas from idle, I hear this watery moving noise. It sounds like a half full (half empty
) water bottle moving around.
I think it has something to do with the heat thingamajig. It sounds like it is coming from the right center side from the inside of the car.
Anybody know what it is? Or did anybody have this problem before?
I am taking it back to the dealership tomorrow morning, they will fix it. But I was curious of what it could be so when I go there I dont sound like a idiot!
Thanks!

Your heater core is clogged or you have air trapped in your cooling system. Simple fix, take off both hoses at firewall, stick a water hose in it and flush it out. then reconnect. check you coolant level.
just follow the radiator hoses to the firewall, and presto, thats where you heater core it, but really on the inside of the truck in a totally rediculously hard place to actually get to.
So today I went to the dealership where I bought the car. They fixed it, they said there was a airpocket and not enough antifreeze or somthing like that. They filled up the antifreeze, and the noise went away.
