So my blazer is missing the engines skid plate...has the transmission and the oil filter skid plate but its missing the engine one. well I went to the local salvage yard and found a plastic skid plate but it just really worries me weather thats gonna hold up at all I mean its not thin and looks like it might help some. I can pick it up for cheap. so should I get it and use it for now until I can find a good metal one or just not bother for now?
