Default exhaust system flange bolts

'98 LS 4.3 4x4
Hi guys and girls. Have to change my cat convertor (have a rattle off and on and cant find it. Strapped the heat shield to no avail) anyway i was looking at the bolts on the flanges and cant figure them out. Theres a nut on one end but the other end looks just like a smooth head on it. Havent found any like it anywhere, So my question is what can i use (size, style, etc) before i start to take everything apart? And can i get them at auto parts store? Thanks in advance.
Tom

The rounded end is pressed into the flange. You just unscrew the nuts. The studs will probably break, but they can be hammered/pressed/drilled out and replaced with "regular" 3/8" nuts and bolts.

35mm should be plenty long.
