exon synergy gas.....any comments
Exon has just bought out shell in my town.......I have been using shell for a long time......and have been good with it.......
My blazer probably doesn't much care about brands nearly as much a my 13 impala......it has a 306 hp direct injection v6 that calls for top tier and cleaners,
because of the carbon build up that can occur on the valves.....
Has anyone tried this new "synergy" gas...........???

I just got the best mpg [17.4] in town, and a mountain scenic drive from 5300 ft. to 9300 ft.] no hiway cruising....... with this exon synergy......87 octane.......I just filled with 91 octane to see if it makes any difference in mileage.........performance and power was great with the 87......
I haven't tried it in my impala yet.........It probably won't leave the garage for a couple more months.......It has a good life :-)
In case anyone cares... ;-)

I'm up in Canada so we have different stations... but I believe that your exon is the same as our esso. But I have noticed one thing, we get about 100 km more per tank with American gas. Not sure Why, but it's been like that the last 3 road trips. And it's cheaper! Even with the dollar converted. I will definitely check it out.
I've seen esso in the US also, i don't know if esso is exon???........I don't think we can ever keep track of what these big corps do??............
The pumps have 'synergy' on the bottom of the pump.......
the true test for the new synergy will be with the direct fuel injection in my impala.....[they are prone to valve coking, if good top tier gas and full syn oil are not used........so they tell me....??]

RE: Top Tier gasolines. Esso, Exxon, Shell, and Shell V-Power are all on the Top Tier list. Even Consumer Reports recommends Top Tier gasolines and say they are worth the extra price. Standard Oil became Esso--get it? SO=Esso. Then Esso became Exxon in some markets.
