Default Explorer Engines!

So I had a chance to see the top end of a 4.0L engine in a 2004 Explorer. I appreciated that the engine compartment was more open and that the spark plugs were easy to access. However, I learned that the engines used had TWO timing chains with one on the back-side of the engine. The only way to fix it if the tensioner broke is to remove the whole engine. This is because it is a SOHC engine with cylinder heads that can be used on either cylinder head. Ack, what a headache to service.

If we're about to discuss a joke from my signature in Christine's topic, I am out.

Hey now... only reason why I'm a redneck, is because I have a sun burn!!
