dose any one know if the mirrors off a 01 jimmy will work on my 97 jimmy and also both mine and the one i am looking at have power so would the conections be the same

They will bolt up, but the wiring will likely be different.

Like swartlkk said they will bolt up...

The wiring is different, but its not that big of a deal.

I did the swap on my 98. I just cut the plug off my old mirrors, cut the plug off the new mirrors, and wired up the plug from the old onto the new. Works just fine. (and looks a lot better too)

Yeah I did the same thing. The wires are different, If I rember right one side matched right up and the other side I had to figure out which was what.
