Finally picking up another Blazer today
I had another thread started about some Blazers that I was looking at. Needless to say none of them panned out. Too many things wrong with them, salvage titled, or other things that I didn't like.
So, I went and looked at a 2000 Blazer "Trailblazer" last night. The guys house was easily 700k+. He had several Carfax reports printed off for potential buyers. They bought it after a lease was up on it so they have had it for several years. He said his kids had driven the vehicle while they were at college. First his son had it then his daughter. So it does have some dings and scratches in it from being in college towns. The interior was in good shape. The carpet could use a good cleaning but that really isn't a bid deal. Everything worked as it should. The only concerning thing, which to me isn't a huge deal, is that when you open the back passenger side door there is some bubbling paint that looked like it was starting to rust a little. I figured that could be sanded down and painted over pretty easily though. Also, the rear wiper motor is out. Again, something that wouldn't need to be fixed right away and shouldn't be too expensive or hard to replace.
It has some nice options too. Obviously heated leather, cd player, climate control, 3.73's, G80, etc.
The truck has 109k miles on it and the guy wanted $4500 for it. I told him I had $4000 and he said that would work. What do you all think? Fair price for both parties? It books for more than that in even "fair" condition. Anyway, I am pretty pumped about it. I will get some better pics up later but I snapped a couple with my cell last night.

Thanks guys. It's pretty nice. Seems to run and drive very well. I will try to get some better pictures up tomorrow. I know it isn't anything special to look at but everyone likes pics, ha.
It will need some new tires before next winter but I plan on adding some 2" shackles and t-bar crank before then anyway. Will just do it all at once so I can throw some bigger tires on it.
Hope everyone had a good Holiday!
