I know this is an old Thread, but I was told that by removing a couple fuses an auto with the 3 button 4x4 switch can be flat towed without and damage... Anyone else hear this or is it bogus info?

I don't believe so. I've had the three button np233 case all the way apart, and I didn't notice a detent for neutral. There's kinda a neutral position, but nothing to keep it there
