I had those on mine until the brush guard was smashed. They would be a waste on the roof they don't really shine out all that far. Only as far as the low beams. They would be a good choice to mount on the bumper. They'll shine light from ditch to ditch quite well.

I've got pretty much the same thing on my roof, except mine don't have all the fluting... More of a spot pattern, I think... I'll snag some pics of 'em and such when I get a sec.

Edit: Pics added

They give pretty good output for what they are... And it's nice to light up the ditches, lol. And they're all facing pretty much straight forward, aimed at the same spot/height... The only reason the pattern widens up at all is the curve of the roof rack.

They don't give a whole lot of extra distance... Probably close to the highbeams, but they add a whole lot more light...

For yours, they'll probably add more distance due to the whole sealed beam thing...

Wish my computer was working so I could have posted earlier. But everyone has alreay said what I was gonna say, lol.

Advance carries something like Baja brand that are around 20ish per light last I can remember.
I have the "Baja" lights on my brushguard and wiper cowl. So far I havent had a problem. And they shine rather far. Stock bulbs and everything.

-Dr. Perry- I think I finially have more lights than you now, lol. Just added some more. Gotta get pics up. My truck is starting to look like your old car did.

speaking from experience, you DON'T get what you pay for when it comes to lighting! There are lights in the sub $50 each range that outperform things like KC Daylighters... IMHO KC Hilites are the most overrated, overpriced thing on the market for trucks! and their customer service is crap!
